Shop Small: Flair Restaurant & Wine Bar

IMG_4870Flair Restaurant & Wine Barin Governors Village, is owned by sisters Elaine and Elli Lopes, who also own Tarantini Italian Restaurant. They purchased the location for Flair in 2017 and knew what the former restaurant (Bean and Barrel) meant to the area residents; their commitment to the community meant keeping the place open and operating under the same name for three months while working on the new eatery. The transformation of the interior took place entirely between opening hours. The décor and atmosphere convey a simple and classic elegance with a greenery wall, a wine display wall, soft lighting, and plenty of carefully considered design touches.  IMG_4864The description for Flair states that they serve French-influenced American food under the direction of executive chef Robert Warren. The menu, however, is pleasantly diverse and ranges from a Hang-Over-Burger to Duck a L’Orange to the new fusion cuisine created earlier this year,  offering tacos, noodle bowls, and fried rice. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.  IMG_4867 The management team of Flair believes that the most important aspect of their restaurant is to create a “welcoming neighborhood restaurant that serves great food and drinks with passion, creativity, and style.” One visit to this jewel with its tasty dishes, inviting ambiance, and superb service will only support and further this goal.
