The Plant hosts its second annual Okra Jamboree on Sun, Aug 3, 2pm-6pm. Discover the benefits of the okra plant for your health. There will be family-friendly festivities for all ages, featuring pop-up vendors, food tastings, panel discussions, okra farm tours, live music with Dub Fire Reggae Band, and a book signing with Chris Smith.

Sponsored by Kingston 99 Kitchen. Participating businesses at The Plant include Fair Game Beverage Company, bmc brewing, Starrlight Mead, Chatham Cider Works, Metal Brixx Cafe, Rachel’s Native Plants, and Hempsmith Clothing Company.
