Rain or shine, fresh, local food will be available next door to the Fitch Creation’s Administration building every Tuesday afternoon at 4pm, April through November. The Annual Piedmont Farm Tour, by the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association, connects guests to local farmers and farm sites in multiple counties. Farm visits include pasture-raised livestock farms, baby animals, fiber demonstrations, hayrides, farm equipment on display, an award-winning cheese dairy, locally-grown and fermented pickles, newly established orchards, food trucks, locally grown hops, a farm with a brewery on site, and organically grown produce farms.
