Come out for a celebration of all things hemp at The Plant during The Hemparoo on Sun, Apr 19, 12pm-6pm. The Hemparoo is a hemp-focused festival celebrating sustainability, wellness, and innovation in North Carolina. Shop local vendors offering hemp-based products, wellness goods, and artisan crafts. Live music and educational resources create an engaging, community-centered atmosphere. Food and drinks from The Plant’s businesses round out the experience. Hemparoo is one of Pittsboro’s most unique spring festivals. Featured plant businesses will include Hempsmith Clothing Company, Oak City Hemp, and Carolina Hemp Tours.

The day’s experiences will include:

• A panel discussion.
• Live reggae music.

Sip and shop the Chatham Beverage District, part of the Chatham County Craft Beverages & Country Inns Trail, with local beers from bmc brewing, wines and ciders from Starrlight, spirits from Fair Game, and sake from Koshu. Local dining available at Kingston 99 Kitchen and Ta Contento. This free, family-friendly event takes place indoors and outdoors.
