Celebrate Halloween at the Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge during this seasonal open house event. Visitors can tour the refuge grounds at their own pace, meet rescued farm animals, hear their stories from tour guides, and learn more about the sanctuary’s work. Special Halloween activities include vegan trick-or-treating, a costume-friendly atmosphere, a photo booth, face painting, pumpkin carving and painting, seasonal treats for the animal residents, and more. Guests can also enjoy food from local vendors Govinda’s Catering and Kitoko Bites. Tours begin at 11 a.m., and the refuge closes to visitors at 2 p.m. Sliding-scale admission ranges from $5 to $40 per person, with proceeds supporting the lifelong care of rescued farm animals.
