Meet the 120+ animal residents at this Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge Tour and Explore on Sat, Jun 10, 11am – 2pm.

Upon arrival, each group will receive a colorful detailed map of the grounds. Wander at your own pace through woods and fields meeting rescued goats, sheep, ducks, geese, chickens, turkeys, and cows! Their knowledgeable tour guides will be stationed throughout the refuge to tell you enchanting stories of animal rescues and introduce you to each animal by name.

While visiting, don’t miss their serene curved brick animal memorial, their unique architectural designs, and their beautiful pavilion, where you can find refuge merchandise for purchase and learn even more about their mission. Reserve your tickets for this exciting experience today!

Arrive any time after 11am and tour at your own pace, but please note that the refuge will close to visitors promptly at 2pm. Please note that you will not receive physical or digital tickets, but they will have a list of ticket holders at check-in.

sliding scale tickets

In an effort to make their events more accessible, there are sliding-scale tickets for the Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge Tour and Explore. Previously, their Tour tickets have been $15 per person. This month, they are offering tickets that range from free to $40 per person. All tour proceeds help the Refuge provide lifelong care to rescued farm animals.

When you accurately assess how much you are able to pay, you are taking part in the work of justice, liberation, and accessibility. It is equally important to them that folks who can pay more do so, as it is people for whom cost is a barrier to select a ticket price that aligns with their current budget.
