DESCRIPTION

Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge (PFAR) is a 45-acre award-winning animal sanctuary and non-profit organization that works to rescue farm animals in need, educate people about the cruelties of factory farms, and promote veganism by offering knowledge, support, and community to people interested in living cruelty-free lifestyles. Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge is home to more than 100 residents, including sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, cows, and geese. Visit for a tour or event and explore the animal-centered architecture, memorial garden, gift shop, and educational pavilion, taking in the farm atmosphere and serenity of nature.

THE REFUGE PAVILION 

The Refuge Pavilion is a 1,500 sqft modern structure and open-air space that includes a large fireplace, festive string lights, a woodland boardwalk, a sizeable storage room, and forest parking. It can accommodate around 100 seated guests, with green space for additional seating directly adjacent. This multi-purpose structure is perfect for weddings, parties, film screenings, yoga classes, theater events, concerts, and more! Booking The Refuge Pavilion includes the option of a guided tour to meet the animal residents as part of your special event.
