Join GreenWood Wrights’Fest for their annual Kick Back and Carve at The Plant, hosted Fri, Apr 11-Sun, Apr 13. They are looking forward to having a spring pole lathe demo at this year’s gathering. They will also provide hands-on green woodworking skills to help beginners learn how to start from a log and carve a spoon. GreenWood Wrights’Fest, hosted later this year, will offer more formal and diverse workshops and demonstrations. Learning to use hatchets and other tools with greenwood is one face of hand tool woodworking that brings a deeper connection to the forest and the local community.
