In our small Southern town of Pittsboro, North Carolina, something extraordinary happens each year. Now, a decade later, that spirit has been poured into a book: Welcome to Death Faire—a mosaic of personal stories, images, essays, and poetry, that creates space where death is no longer hidden in the shadows. Published by Tami Schwerin, this beautiful book—like Death Faire itself—encourages you to challenge the stories we tell ourselves about death and to embrace it as an integral part of living a full life.
