Jordan Lake State Recreation Area

DESCRIPTION

Seven access areas provide plenty of camping, boating, and swimming opportunities. Part of the state park recreation system, campers have more than 1,000 campsites at five accesses, whether using a tent, trailer, or RV. One of the largest summertime homes of the Bald Eagle, plus an observation platform. The visitor center is open Mon – Fri, 8am – 4:30pm.

The visitor center is open Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.

Please note that Poe’s Ridge boat ramp is managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers, and Farrington Point boat ramp is managed by the NC Wildlife Resources Commission. Please check with those agencies for the most up-to-date information regarding those facilities.
