Join the Silk Hope Ruritans for their 5th Annual Country Christmas on Dec 14, 2pm-5:30pm. Admission is free for this fun, family-friendly holiday event, which features live animals, a bouncy house, giveaways, a hayride, a kiddie train ride, the lighting of the hay wagon, a Christmas sing-along, and much more! Santa arrives at 2:30pm.

Silk Hope Farm Heritage Park is home to Old-Fashioned Farmers’ Day, Chatham County’s longest-running event (celebrating 50 years in 2025)! The unique venue has an antique barn, working steam and diesel engines, and a Civil War-era homestead, among many historical features.

The event is located one hour west of Raleigh, NC, off US 64, one-hour southeast of Greensboro via US 421 and US 64, 45 minutes south of Burlington, NC, via NC 87 and Lindley Mill/Silk Hope-Lindley Mill Rd, and six miles northeast of Siler City, Chatham County, NC.
