Red Clay Ramblers at The Plant
Join The Plant as they celebrate WUNC’s 50th Anniversary with Red Clay Ramblers at The Plant on Sat, May 30, 4:30pm-7:30pm. WUNC is hosting 50 events across the state to celebrate its 50th anniversary, including this performance from the Red Clay Ramblers. This Tony Award–winning North Carolina string band has been blending old-time, bluegrass, jazz, gospel, and Appalachian traditions into a sound entirely its own since 1972. Equally at home on Broadway stages, festival fields, and small-town venues, the Red Clay Ramblers is a living institution of Southern roots music. Come meet the WUNC staff at 4:30pm. Music will begin at 5:30pm. This event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is encouraged. This is a family-friendly event. RSVP here.
