Join Triangle Land Conservancy for a New Year’s Day Hike on Thu, Jan 1, 9am-11:30am at White Pines Nature Preserve. Join TLC Trail Guides Steve G. and Pam M. on this relaxed, social hike to get outside and start the year right! White Pines Nature Preserve contains species not typically found in the North Carolina Piedmont, but they remain here from the last ice age because the surrounding rivers create a microclimate.

There will be multiple stops along the way to learn about the preserve’s ecology and history. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and warm layers. and bring a full water bottle along.
