Mead Fest

Mead Fest will take place at The Plant on Saturday, Sept. 26, from noon to 5 p.m. The annual event celebrates mead through tastings, mead-making demonstrations and Renaissance fair-inspired activities. Attendees can sample mead from Starrlight Mead and Honeygirl Meadery, enjoy live music and sword-fighting demonstrations, and browse vendor offerings throughout the day.
Additional beverages will be available from bmc brewing, Fair Game Beverage and Koshu Sake Bar. Food vendors include Kingston 99 Kitchen, Ta’ Contento, Metal Brix Cafe, Little Havana Cafe, Tasty Turkey-Q and Sheila’s Aussie Bakery. Family-friendly and free to attend, Mead Fest will be held rain or shine, with food and drinks available for purchase.
