Join McIntyre’s Books for a Kids Graphic Novel Workshop with Author Tate Godwin on Sat, Oct 18, 2pm-3pm. Author Tate Godwin shares the hilarious, up-and-down story behind the creation of his first graphic novel and guides kids through the process of making their own. Free to attend, and no materials necessary! Paper and drawing utensils will be provided.

Tate Godwin is a kids’ graphic novelist and illustrator based in Chapel Hill. He loves creating stories about friendship, facing fears, and being true to oneself. His debut kids’ graphic novel, Operation: Cover-Up, was published in January 2025, and its sequel, Operation: Make a Splash, is scheduled for release on February 24, 2026.
