Carolina Sailing Foundation Intermediate 420 Camp

A tightly grouped fleet of small single- and two-person sailing dinghies, sails numbered, race across open water that sparkles with sunlight. A faint shoreline and bridge are visible on the horizon under a clear sky.In the Intermediate 420 Camp, hosted by the Carolina Sailing Foundation, children ages 12-16 participate in small group, on-the-water, week-long sessions to learn intermediate sailing skills. Participants review all skills learned in the Beginner class, learn upwind and downwind techniques, and receive an introduction to racing. Suitable for children who have some sailing experience and are comfortable alone in a boat.

Camps emphasize safety, building confidence, having fun, and improving skills. All head instructors are US Sailing certified. The cost per weekly session is $445 with discounts for siblings. Camp takes place at Crosswinds Boating Center. Dropoff is between 8:45am-9am, and pickup is at 4pm. See the schedule below:
