In the Beginner 420 Camp, hosted by the Carolina Sailing Foundation, children ages 12-16 participate in small group, on-the-water, week-long sessions to learn beginner sailing skills. Participants learn the parts of a sailboat, how it works, and how to rig it and begin to sail properly. Suitable for complete novices.

Camps emphasize safety, building confidence, having fun, and improving skills. All head instructors are US Sailing certified. The cost per weekly session is $445 with discounts for siblings. Camp takes place at Crosswinds Boating Center. Dropoff is between 8:45am-9am, and pickup is at 4pm. See the schedule below:
