At this Backyard and Small Flocks Workshop, hosted Mon, Mar 2, 6pm-8pm by Chatham County Cooperative Extension, you’ll gain valuable knowledge and resources to improve your poultry flock’s health and productivity. You’ll cover key topics such as:

• Proper husbandry practices.
• Biosecurity measures to protect your flock.
• Selecting the right breeds.
• Managing common diseases and parasites.

This event is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is required. There will be a Q&A session following the presentation. Doors open at 5:45pm. Classes occur in the Cooperative Extension wing of the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center. The space is ADA-compliant. Free parking is available on-site. No pets allowed.
