Ag Pesticide License and Fumigant Exam Test
Join Chatham County Cooperative Extension for an Ag Pesticide License and Fumigant Exam Test on Thu, Feb 12, 10am-1pm, administered by the NC Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services at the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center (CCACC). Farmers may take the Private Applicator exam first, and after it is submitted, may take either the Soil Fumigation or Commodity Fumigation exam if time permits.
This testing opportunity is available to all farmers, including those who need to obtain their initial farm pesticide license and those who already hold a license and need commodity fumigant certification, a requirement that began in July 2024. This event is intended for farmers only and is not open to commercial or landscape applicators.
Testing fees will be collected by NCDA&CS at the time of testing. Seating is limited, so registration is required. This event takes place indoors in Hall B. The space is ADA-compliant. Free parking is available on-site. No pets allowed. See more events at the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center.
