Restorative Yoga with Meadow DeFosche
Join Pittsboro Yoga at The Plant for Restorative Yoga with Meadow DeFosche on Wed, Jun 24, 6:30pm-7:30pm. Restorative yoga is the art of conscious relaxation, rooted in traditional Hatha practices, including asana, pranayama, and opening the body. However, unlike a traditional Hatha class, restorative yoga focuses on stillness, full-body support, and nervous system regulation. Rather than “doing” as you would in a traditional asana class, restorative yoga asks us to focus on “being”. Restorative yoga invites the practitioner to rest deeply in stillness, using props to support the body so the nervous system can shift into a parasympathetic state of healing and restoration. Suitable for all levels, including those recovering from injury, managing stress, or simply needing rest. Restorative Yoga offers a quiet space to slow down, reset, and reconnect. Leave feeling nourished, grounded, and deeply restored.
Register early to reserve your spot. This class is $20 per person and takes place indoors. Classes are designed for all levels and all bodies, with props, modifications, and options offered throughout. Please note that the studio is located on the second floor of Building 2. Free parking available on site. See more events at Pittsboro Yoga. See more events at The Plant.
