Join The Plant for Live Music with Grupo Caribe Vibe on Tue, May 5, 5pm-8pm. Grupo Caribe Vibe is the newest musical project under the umbrella of SalsaWiz Productions (a local entertainment company), which is the home for other Latin musical acts such as “Orquesta K’che”, “Jazziando Latin Jazz & More”, “The PM Trio”, among others. Since there are already a few local Latin dance bands that are nine- to twelve-member strong, it was decided to create a smaller lineup. It was decided to structure Caribe Vibe as a three-piece band. With Carmen Velez on lead vocals, along with Christian Velez and Billy Marrero on percussion. With the addition of musical tracks, Caribe Vibe can perform the same upbeat styles of Latin music as the larger bands: Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Bachata, and Bolero.

Sip and shop the Chatham Beverage District, part of the Chatham County Craft Beverages & Country Inns Trail, with local beers from bmc brewing, wines and ciders from Starrlight, spirits from Fair Game, and sake from Koshu. Local dining available at Kingston 99 Kitchen and Ta Contento.

There is no cover for music, but tips for the musicians are encouraged. Most events are rain or shine; if they have to cancel, they will do so as far in advance as possible. Free parking is available onsite. Leashed, well-behaved pets are allowed outside; pet policies may vary by individual business.
