Join The Plant for Live Music with Blackwood Sunshine on Sun, Apr 12, 12pm-3pm. Internationally touring songwriter Stephen Sunshine has always kept a special place in his heart for Pittsboro and his collaboration with local guitar hero Shannon Blackwood. Together, they playfully explore the sounds of American music. Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, Sunshine’s voice and stories provoke introspection as they lay right into Blackwood’s atmospheric North Carolinian guitar sound. If you’re a fan of live music, it’s likely you’ve heard Blackwood performing in groups like Waking Up Moe, The Walkers, and Tim Stambaugh.

There is no cover for music, but tips for the musicians are encouraged. Most events are rain or shine; if they have to cancel, they will do so as far in advance as possible.
