Eric Asimov Wine Dinner

Reserve your spot for Fearrington’s Eric Asimov Wine Dinner on Thu, Nov 13, 6:30pm-9pm. Fearrington and the Wine Centric Show are honored to host one of the most recognizable names in the American wine industry: Eric Asimov, the chief wine critic of The New York Times. Mr. Asimov has been writing about wine since 1999 and is known for popular columns like $25 and Under, The Pour, and Wines of the Times. He has collaborated with Fearrington Wine Director Troy Revell on curating a wine lineup for you, focusing on natural processes, organic wines that undergo minimal intervention, and low sulfur levels in their production. Chef Paul Gagne’s 5-course dinner menu will be paired with these six memorable wines:

  • Ruppert-Leroy ‘Puzzle’ la Côte des Bar, Champagne, France.
  • Envinate ‘Palo Blanco’ Listan Bianco, Canary Islands, Spain 2022.
  • Emme ‘Tell Tour Sister I Say Hi’ skin-contact Colombard, Mendocino, California 2024.
  • Bonnet-Cotton ‘100% Cotton’ Côte de Brouilly, Beaujolais, France 2023.
  • Domaine de Galouchey ‘Vin de Jardin’ Bordeaux, France 2020.
  • Istine Chianti Classico, Tuscany, Italy 2022.

This $195 wine dinner is non-refundable and totals $255 with tax and service. If you want overnight accommodations, please contact Fearrington House Inn at 919.542.2121.
