Frye Studios is an art gallery and antique store located in downtown Pittsboro. It features vintage pieces and works by Susan and Charlie Frye, a husband-and-wife duo and self-taught local artists. You’ll often find them in the studio working on new pieces. Their paintings and collages focus on landscapes and portraits. Sip a cup of coffee or tea, listen to classical or jazz music, and even watch an old black-and-white movie – all while perusing their gallery. Outside, you’ll find a free art library – leave art, take a piece, or both!
