Mead Fest is an annual celebration of all things mead! Drink honey wine and learn how to make it. Plus, it’s a fun excuse for a mini Renaissance faire featuring living music, vendors, knights, food, and more. This year’s event features music by Thunder and Spice and NEW this year An Gorta Mor Memorial Pipe Band. Knights of the Fiat Lux will perform sword fighting demonstrations!

Honeygirl Meadery will be joining the festivities again this year. Craft beverages are also available from Fair Game Beverage Company and bmc brewing. Make sure to try Starrlight and bmc’s collaboration, a braggot, which combines beer and mead. Grab food from Kingston 99 Kitchen, JDub’s PoBoys, Metal Brixx Cafe, and Ta Contento.

This year’s event takes place Sat, Sep 21, 12pm-5pm. This is a free (except for food and drinks), family-friendly event. Mead Fest happens rain or shine. Costumes are strongly encouraged.
