The Artist’s Garret at Fearrington Village, just above Organic Forrestry Studio, is a comfortable, private one-bedroom apartment featuring a large gallery sitting room with cathedral ceilings, a full kitchen, a bathroom, and a beautiful garden and trails, all decorated with Forrest Greenslade’s paintings and sculptures.
After parking in a private space, take a few moments to enjoy some of Forrest’s sculpture in the front yard or paintings in the Greenslades’ home gallery. Forrest and his wife, Carol-Ann, will be happy to give you a personal tour. They would also be delighted to arrange for you to visit other Artist Studios in the area. Take a long walk on one of the community trails that adjoin the Greenslade garden, which is a National Wildlife Federation-certified wildlife habitat. The Artist’s Garret is a quick walk to Fearringon Village, featuring incredible gardens, luxurious dining and spa experiences, a first-rate independent book store, and charming shops.
