Pittsboro First Sunday Artisan Fair and Market takes place the first Sunday, Apr-Dec, 12pm-4pm. 

Come out and enjoy a bit of Pittsboro’s downtown charm. This family-friendly event is free to attend. Artisans, non-profits, and local businesses will be out and about as you enjoy some sweet treats, food trucks, and vendors selling art, jewelry, textiles, woodwork, soaps, pottery, and more.

Just a few businesses open for Pittsboro First Sunday Artisan Fair and Market: Pittsboro Toys, French Connections, The Beagle, Screaming for Vintage, Carolina Cravings, Circle City Books & Music, Deep River Mercantile, Marigold, Reclamation, New Horizons Downtown, Pittsboro Gallery of Arts, Chatham County Courthouse and Historical Museum, and Studio 17. Show of Hands Gallery holds a reception featuring new artists, live music, and light refreshments.

Visit The Plant for first-Sunday festivities, live music, and brunch, hosted from 10am to 3pm. Grab a bite to eat at Kingston 99 Kitchen and JDub’s PoBoys, sip brunch cocktails from bmc brewing and Fair Game Beverage Company, enjoy a cup of Vortex Roasters coffee (or two) from Metal Brixx Cafe, and get some aggression out at Chatham Axes. Tours are offered every Sunday at 1pm. You’ll learn about The Plant’s history, why they do what they do, and the native plants throughout the property. The tour begins at the guardhouse and, fittingly, ends at Rachel’s Native Plants. First Sunday Soundbaths are hosted at Starrlight Mead from 11:30am-12:30pm.
