Krystal’s distinctive style is a unique balance of fine art, timeless portraiture and documentary photography. She has an artist’s eye for beauty and composition with a finely-honed talent for creating stunning portraits while capturing the true emotion and beauty of each and every wedding. She is the preferred photographer for Fearrington Village and her work has been published in The New York Times, The Knot, Town & Country, Weddings Unveiled, Southern Bride and Groom, and Durham Magazine.
Krystal is a graduate from the University of Montana’s Fine Art Department where she received a BFA with Honors in Fine Art focusing in Photography. She shares the studio with her sister in-law Cheryl-Anne Kast, who is an amazingly talented planner. She is thrilled to not only call her family but also work alongside her on a regular basis.
