The Town currently maintains six parks, two gymnasiums and a community center that are provided for the enjoyment of everyone. The Siler City Parks and Recreation Department conducts youth athletics such as football, basketball, baseball and softball as well as special events such as Friday Night Flicks, Easter Eggstravaganza, and Fall-O-Ween. New this year, the Spring Chicken Festival. The recreation program relies heavily on volunteer coaches and other participants who are willing to donate their time for the benefit of others.
