For Garden’s Sake (FGS) is a full-service landscaping company and family-friendly garden center owned and operated by Scott and Marsha Pearce, who have managed the day-to-day operations since 2010. Visit the garden center for indoor and outdoor needs. Peruse their vast plant selection, feed the goats and ducks, have a picnic by the pond, play on the swing set, check out their beehive and Little Library box, and attend a class or event. During warmer months, relax and enjoy a drink at the Potting Shed (including craft beverages from locally-owned Carolina Brewery). The lake is brimming with fish, turtles, and ducks.
THE POTTING SHED
FGS transformed an old storage building into a focal point and exciting new space to enjoy: the potting shed. They serve ice-cold beer, ciders, hard seltzers, wine, champagne, mimosas, and Sunset Slush (including an “adult” pour-over option). Sip while you shop or relax by the pond or at the patio tables outside the Garden Center. The Potting Shed is only open during the warm season, so don’t miss out!
FOR GARDEN’S SAKE EVENTS
FGS offers a special event space suitable for a variety of gatherings. Located on a 20-acre site in the far northeast corner of Chatham County. The cozy space, the Robin’s Nest is considered the perfect and quaint location for birthday parties, bridal showers, graduation parties, baby showers, holiday parties, work retreats, and more. FGS pricing options vary and include full-day rentals. FGS events and workshops are fun and informative for day trips, too.
