In this Tapestry Class by Trudy Thomson, you’ll explore many different techniques for tapestry on a hand-crafted loom, which you can take home for future work. You’ll learn how to use weft to create pattern designs, including ways to embellish your pieces using sumac, Egyptian knotting, and other techniques. Classes are held every Saturday, Jul 5-Jul 26, 2pm-4pm.

The fee to participate is $150 per person plus a $25 materials fee for the handcrafted loom and yarn. The classroom is located in the back of the Pittsboro Gallery of Arts in downtown Pittsboro. Parking is free on the street and in the back of the building. See more Pittsboro Gallery of Arts events.
