Los Jets: A Home on the Field

June 9, 2021 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm

ZOOM Virtual Event
Join us for a 30-minute viewing of “Meet Los Jets,” an episode from the Jennifer Lopez executive-produced documentary tv series, Los Jets.

Following the viewing, join us for a conversation with members of the original Los Jets soccer team as we explore the story of their journey to establish a high school team in Siler City, North Carolina. Suffering setbacks and heartbreak, the majority Latino team, in only three seasons, emerged poised to win the state championship. With the leadership of volunteer coach and award-winning Latino journalist and author, Paul Cuadros, the Jets would go on to leave an important legacy in their community.
