Join The Plant for Live Music with Popcorn Blue Band on Sat, Jun 21, 5pm-8pm. Popcorn Blue Band was started in 2004 by Linda and Dan Chegash, band manager and drummer for the band, respectively, and Phillip Sloane, keyboardist. Since then, the band has grown to an eight-member band including Tom Wills, Marc Alperin, Kathleen Millikan, and Richard and Katie Kim.  They perform covers and originals in and around Chapel Hill, Pittsboro, and Durham, NC.  The band features five lead vocalists singing some of your favorite pop, jazz, blues, and country tunes, so the sound stays harmonious and fresh.

There is no cover for music, but tips for the musicians are encouraged. Most events are rain or shine; if they are in a position of having to cancel, they will try to do so well in advance. The Plant is accessible to guests and will do its best to accommodate any additional requests—contact music@theplantnc.com with any accommodation requests or accessibility concerns.
