Join Quilted Needle for this Jelly Roll Rug Class, a fun and creative two-part class where you will learn how to make a beautiful and durable Jelly Roll Rug using a pre-cut jelly roll and cotton batting. This hands-on class will guide you through the entire process, from strip preparation and sewing to coiling and finishing. Perfect for those with basic sewing machine knowledge who are ready to take their skills to the next level! This class is ideal for advanced beginners. Class is $75 for both sessions, and materials must be purchased from Quilted Needle. Each session is 3.5 hours. There may be a need for homework between classes if students are going to finish the rug by the end of the second session. A maximum of 6 students is allowed per session. Requirements include:

• A sewing machine in good working condition, recently cleaned, and capable of a minimum 5.0 wide zig-zag stitch with an open-toe foot.
• Pre-load five bobbins to minimize interrupts while sewing (you may need more during the class).
• Basic sewing knowledge.

Classes are hosted on the following dates:

• Tue, Apr 28 and Thu, Apr 30, 4:30pm-8pm Session One.
• Tue, May 5 and Thu, May 7, 10am-1:30pm Session Two.
