Intermediate Home Mead Making Class – Oaking and Additives

In this Intermediate Home Mead Making Class – Oaking and Additives, you’ll learn about various additives and when to use them (or not). You’ll also learn about various methods for creating oak meads and the difference between French and American oak. Sample meads aged with chips from each of these types. The class will also cover different acids and when acid additions may be necessary. Class includes mead tasting with various oak, tannin, and additives.
This class occurs Sat, Nov 2, 10am-1pm. Registration is $50 for individuals and $75 for couples. All class participants must be over 21 – no exceptions. Registration closes Wed, Oct 30.
