Honeybee Paper Mache Camp
August 13 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Discover the importance of honeybees at Honeybee Paper Mache Camp Tue, Aug 13-Thu, Aug 15, 1pm-3pm at Chatham Grove Community Center. This camp for pre-teens and teens shares why honeybees are so important to our agriculture and the food we eat. In the first class, participants will construct a HUGE honeybee – complete with a tissue paper flower. Next, you will cover the form with paste, and finally, you will have fun painting your bee. With help from an adult, hang it up on the ceiling and let it fly.
Registration opens Mon, Jul 8 and closes Mon, Aug 12. Supplies are included. Dress to get messy! This is a three-class session designed for children ages 10-14. The fee is $50 per participant. This event is hosted by Chatham County Parks & Recreation. See all their events.
