Holiday Enrichment Tours at Carolina Tiger Rescue

July 4 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

A white tiger with pale brown stripes and pale eyes lies on its side on a weathered wooden platform, holding a cardboard box between its paws and rubbing its face against it. The box is hand-decorated with colorful painted shapes in red, orange, blue, and green, the kind of enrichment item sanctuaries make to keep big cats mentally and physically engaged. Green leafy foliage and a chain-link fence form the background.Come celebrate the holidays with the cats at Holiday Enrichment Tours with Carolina Tiger Rescue. On the tour, you will learn about CTR’s wonderful animals and how enrichment enhances their lives. Watch the animals play with and destroy holiday-themed enrichment, then indulge in some edible holiday enrichment of your own!

BEFORE YOU VISIT

A sanctuary worker with pink hair, wearing a lavender hoodie, blue disposable gloves, and a handheld radio clipped at the waist, leans down beside a tall chain-link enclosure holding a piece of raw meat, with a blue feeding bucket on the grass nearby. On the other side of the fence, a tiger approaches, partly visible through the mesh. In the background, a visitor in a bright blue jacket smiles and photographs the feeding with a phone. Green trees and additional fencing surround the grassy outdoor area. There are several things CTR would like you to know before booking your tour. Please review the information below before purchasing your tickets:

  • If a minor child is not accompanied by their parent, the parent must complete a Combined Minor Release Form and bring it in at the time of your tour.
  • All tours go out rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, Carolina Tiger Rescue will contact guests to inform them if a cancellation is necessary.
  • Photos may be taken during your tour after you’ve signed your visitor release.
  • The Education Center is wheelchair-accessible; however, the gravel and grass paths may be more challenging for those with limited mobility. Golf carts are available to assist guests who need them. If you have accessibility concerns, please call 919.542.4648 to make arrangements before your visit.
  • GPS may not provide accurate directions to CTR’s location. They recommend using the directions from their website to ensure a successful arrival.
  • CTR does not allow outside animals anywhere on the property. Please leave your pets at home.
