Pittsboro’s Finally Fridays Art Walks are held every Third Friday, 5pm-8pm , in downtown Pittsboro (Hillsboro Street and Pittsboro’s Social District). This FREE, family-friendly monthly event highlights Pittsboro’s vibrant downtown and artistic community. Shops spill onto the sidewalks, creating a festive atmosphere. Community artists form Art Pods with a boho vibe.  Experience Pittsboro Finally Fridays Arts Walk through the eyes of its beloved sheep mascot, who is small in stature but full of personality.

This event is free to the public and participating artists. Events for 2025 will be held on the following dates:

“New season, new beginnings: Discover new artists, view new storefronts, and enjoy a special shopping event” is the theme for September’s arts walk event, promising a fun evening for all. Participate in the ice cream-themed scavenger hunt raffle. Explore the shops, check out the sales, and browse the arts and crafts booths along the Social District sidewalks during this arts walk event.

The Popcorn Blue Band, performing in front of the Pittsboro and Chatham Counter Welcome Center, provides the Pittsboro Finally Fridays Arts Walk’s music! They’re known for their original renditions of familiar tunes, blending savory elements of swing, jazz, and rock.

This event takes place outdoors along the streets and sidewalks of downtown Pittsboro. Downtown Pittsboro and its businesses have typical ADA accommodations. Parking is free and available within walking distance to the event. Leashed pets are welcome. See more Downtown Pittsboro events.
