Pittsboro’s Finally Fridays Art Walks are held every Third Friday, 5pm-8pm , in downtown Pittsboro (Hillsboro Street and Pittsboro’s Social District). This FREE, family-friendly monthly event highlights Pittsboro’s vibrant downtown and artistic community. Shops spill onto the sidewalks, creating a festive atmosphere. Community artists form Art Pods with a boho vibe. This event is free to the public and participating artists. Events for 2025 will be held on the following dates:

• Fri, Oct 17, 5pm-8pm.
• Fri, Nov 21, 5pm-8pm.
• Fri, Dec 19, 5pm-8pm.

August’s theme, “Experience the Artistry of Ice Cream,” promises an ice cream eating competition and an ice cream-themed scavenger hunt raffle. Explore the shops, check out the sales, and browse the arts and crafts booths along the Social District sidewalks during this arts walk event. Chris Doss will perform at the Welcome Center on the circle. Blending elements of classic pop, alternative, and Americana, Chris brings a fresh yet familiar sound that resonates with audiences of all ages.
