Siler City Parks and Recreation treats the community to the 6th Annual Fall-O-Ween Trunk R’ Treat on Fri, Oct 28 at the Bray Park Sports Complex. This family-friendly event will be sure to get the whole family in the Fall spirit with lots of candy, Trunk r’ Treating, inflatable attractions, music, food, games, and more. Stick around for their Friday Night Flicks, featuring the movie Encanto, following the Trunk R’ Treat event. Admission is free and costumes are encouraged!

Trunk R’ Treating activities will offer a free and safe trick or treat experience where children can stroll trunk to trunk, visiting various community organizations and businesses for free candy and learn more about their amazing community services. Concessions will be available for purchase.

As part of the Fall-O-Ween Trunk R Treat event, Siler City Parks and Recreation will also host the 2022 Fall-O-Ween Costume Contest where all ages are encouraged to submit a Halloween Costume photo for a chance to win prizes! Submissions can be done at the event’s Costume Photo Booth or can be emailed to [email protected] by Mon, Oct 31 at midnight. Submissions will be automatically entered into the contest and winners will be randomly drawn and announced on Tue, Nov 2.

Siler City Parks and Recreation is seeking businesses, organizations, agencies, churches, non-profits, and civic groups to register as trunk r’ treat vendors. Greet attendees with candy, treats, and any free promotional information regarding your services. Registration is free and available online at www.silercity.org, in City Hall (311 N 2nd Avenue) or by emailing [email protected]. Vendors must pre-register to participate. The deadline to register your trunk is Thu, Oct 27 at 5 pm or until full.

In the event of inclement weather, the event rain date is scheduled for Sat, Oct 29, 10 am-2 pm.
