Exploring Painting in Oil and Acrylics
Exploring Painting in Oil and Acrylics is designed to encourage students to explore new approaches to their current painting methods. The objective is to abandon judgment, have fun, and embrace discovery. The instructor will cover design/composition, color mixing, and mark-making while encouraging the simplification of detail to blur the boundaries between representation and abstraction and to see shapes without labels. Supplies are included. These one-session classes are instructed by Ann Lawtey and take place on the following dates:
- Thu, Feb 12, 10am-1pm Session One.
- Thu, Feb 19, 10am-1pm Session Two.
- Thu, Feb 26, 10am-1pm Session Three.
- Wed, Mar 18, 10am-1pm Session Four.
- Wed, Mar 25, 10am-1pm Session Five.
- Thu, Apr 16, 10am-1pm Session Six.
- Thu, Apr 23, 10am-1pm Session Seven.
- Thu, Apr 30, 10am-1pm Session Eight.
