Come and celebrate springtime with Chatham County Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources during their annual EGGstreme Spring Fling on Sat, Apr 11, 10am-1pm at the Pittsboro Campus for Central Carolina Community College. This event is outdoors. Community members are welcome to participate in an egg hunt, field games, springtime crafts, take a picture with the Spring Bunny, get glitter tattoos, and enjoy other festivities. Parks and Recreation will also be joined by other departments and organizations to celebrate the season, including Art Vendors selling their handmade merchandise! Be sure to bring your Easter Basket to collect your eggs and other goodies!

The tentative event schedule is as follows:

• 11:15am Bunny Hop Race (Sack Race).
• 11:30am “Egg Toss” (Water Balloon Toss).
• 12pm 0-3 year-old Egg Hunt.
• 12:15pm 4-6 year-old Egg Hunt.
• 12:30pm 7-9 year-old Egg Hunt.
• 12:45pm 10+ year-old Egg Hunt.
