Sat, Oct 21, 2pm-4pm Trails & Treats at Knight Farm Community Park
Children of all ages can wear costumes and trick-or-treat their way along the decorated accessible trail and collect treats from community organizations and local businesses at Knight Farm Community Park. Families can also enjoy festive crafts and activities under the pavilion and a spooktacular photo area. Be sure to bring a bag or bucket to collect your treats. A parent must accompany their children at all times. The event is free and no registration is required.

Sun, Nov 19, 3:30pm-6:30pm Holly Days 2023, Pittsboro’s Tree Lighting Celebration
The Pittsboro Business Association invites you to downtown Pittsboro for a fun-filled tree-lighting ceremony. Santa will be there, and there will be plenty of things to do for all ages. The event includes food trucks, an assortment of entertainment on the main stage, a train ride, a bouncy house, and a vendor market.

Sun, Dec 10, 3pm-6pm Downtown Pittsboro Christmas Parade
Holiday traditions return to Pittsboro! The annual Christmas Parade features beautifully decorated floats built by local groups and businesses, fun costumes and floats, twinkling holiday lights, and more. Seating will not be provided – spectators are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets. For more information, contact Pittsboro Parks & Recreation at 984.282.6927. Road closure information TBD. Each group will be judged and may win in one of the following categories: Most Spirited, Best Walking Group, Most Creative, and Judge’s Favorite.
