Join the Chatham County Historical Association (CCHA) for a Downtown Pittsboro Historical Walking Tour on Sat, Apr 11. Each month explores a new theme, bringing the stories of Pittsboro’s streets, buildings, and people to life. Walk through history with them and discover how downtown has evolved through the years. This month, discover the history of artists, performers, and creative spaces that shaped downtown’s cultural life. From galleries and murals to the hidden stories of local talent, this tour celebrates how the arts have helped define the spirit of Chatham County’s community. Tours are available at the following times:

• Sat, Apr 11, 12pm-1:30pm.
• Sat, Apr 11, 2pm-3:30pm.

BEFORE YOU GO

• The cost is $5 for CCHA members and $10 for non-members. Members may order guest tickets at the member price.
• Meet at the historic courthouse in downtown Pittsboro: 9 Hillsboro Street, Pittsboro, NC 27312. The tour will cover approximately one mile and will last about 90 minutes.
• Limited to 20 participants per tour. Participants must be aged 12 and older. No pets or strollers allowed.
• Events are rain or shine, canceled only in the case of severe weather.
• Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes.
• A liability waiver is required at check-in.
• Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled due to severe weather.
