Bake Give Away for Charity
April 21 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
The Children’s Culinary Institute, led by Chef Arlena, and in partnership with Chatham County Parks & Recreation, presents a Bake Give Away for Charity on Mon, Apr 21. Every student involved in these multi-age sessions will be baking cookies to gift to a family member, friend, or neighbor. Each cookie plate will be accompanied by a card that explains how this cookie-making initiative supports the charitable fundraiser “Cookies for Kid’s Cancer”, which focuses on advancing research in pediatric cancer treatment. The cards will feature a QR code for donations, and each student will be encouraged to deliver a minimum of four treat plates. If your student cannot attend the baking day but you would like to contribute, feel free to use the QR code or donate ingredients for cookie baking activities directly to Chef Arlena. Ages 7-15 are welcome. Sessions are held at the following times:
- 10am-11:30am.
- 12pm-1:30pm.
- 2pm-3:30pm.
This event takes place at the Chatham Grove Community Center.
