The Ancient Arts Festival (formerly TattooFest Raleigh) returns to the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center for a third year Fri, Oct 10-Sun, Oct 12. Hosted by 401 Tattoo and Antiquities, the event features live tattooing by 45 local and out-of-state artists, contests and awards, oddity and macabre art vendors, a masquerade costume contest, a parade by Paperhand Puppet Intervention, a sideshow and carnival acts by Jax Silvertree, live music, live aura painting, food trucks, and more. Festival dates and times are listed below:

• Fri, Oct 10, 2pm-10pm. 
• Sat, Oct 11, 10am-10pm.
• Sun, Oct 12, 10am-5pm.
