The Ancient Arts Festival (formerly TattooFest Raleigh) returns to the Chatham County Agriculture & Conference Center for a second year Fri, Oct 18-Sun, Oct 20. Hosted by 401 Tattoo and Antiquities, the event features live tattooing by 45 local and out-of-state artists, contests and awards, oddity and macabre art vendors, a masquerade costume contest, a parade by Paperhand Puppet Intervention, a sideshow and carnival acts by Jax Silvertree, live music, live aura painting, food trucks, and more.
