Learn the art of mead making during the Beginning Home Mead Making Class at Starrlight Mead on October 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This hands-on workshop introduces participants to the basics of home mead production, including sanitation, equipment, and the step-by-step process of creating a cyser, a honey and apple mead. Attendees will make and take home their own gallon of mead along with instructions for completing the process at home. No prior experience is required. Registration is $75 for an individual or $100 for a couple, and participants must be 21 or older. Registration closes October 18.
