Fabric Coiled Basket: Sewing for Teens introduces participants to the art of creating fabric coiled bowls and baskets using cotton cording, fabric and a sewing machine. Led by Bea Lee, this hands-on workshop teaches teens how to wrap, shape and stitch materials into a functional handmade piece. Participants should have basic sewing machine skills prior to attending. Open to ages 13-18, the one-session class includes all supplies. Registration is available through Chatham County Parks and Recreation.
