Emotional Support Avocado: Crochet teaches participants how to create a palm-sized crocheted avocado while learning the basics of amigurumi. Led by Kira Jones, the beginner-friendly workshop covers essential crochet skills, including holding the hook, maintaining tension, reading a pattern, working a magic ring, single crochet and finishing techniques. Participants will leave with a handmade “emotional support avocado” and a new crafting skill. Open to adults ages 18 and older, the one-session class includes all supplies. Registration is available through Chatham County Parks and Recreation.
